Advocates of Decentralized Science (DeSci) argue that traditional scientific methods have increasingly fallen victim to regulatory capture and are hindered by the influences of corporate greed. To remedy these issues, they propose a blockchain-based update that could not only restore integrity to scientific research but also drive breakthroughs in areas such as baldness treatment.
